STORY CONCEPT

WAKE UP is the story of Hope, a young girl who is transported from her suburban home to a dystopian wasteland – a destined Planet Earth.

She’s put on trial for destroying the planet by an alarming collection of Cyber-based lifeforms. Overwhelmed by the convincing evidence and frightened by the court’s preconceived guilty verdict, Hope realizes her role in climate change and its effect on the environment. By the end of her bizarre journey, she makes a promise to become more involved in taking care of her home, Mother Earth.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our generation has put our children in this ecological emergency. Our neglect is forcing them to correct our carelessness.

Our mission is to create an animated musical comedy that presents Hope as a role model to inspire and empower young people to pursue a meaningful role in rescuing Mother Earth.

The Format

WAKE UP is a 90-minute animated musical comedy with 16 original songs. All the songs have been recorded with top level Los Angeles studio singers, including cast members of the musical, “Frozen”.

WAKE UP has also been adapted into: A Four-Part Episodic Series at 25 minutes each.

Episode #1 – “It Began As An Accident” – Includes: three songs.
Episode #2 – “The Most Bizarre Journey” – Includes: three songs.
Episode #3 – “Hey, This Isn’t A Fair Trial!” – Includes: five songs.
Episode #4 – “This Is On Me” – Includes: five songs.

WAKE UP has been adapted to the stage as a song and book-based musical. The book has been translated into German by Klara Marx and the lyrics by Laura Friedrich Tejero.
